Job Description

• Lead a strong team, analyzing the competitive landscape of higher education, identifying and recruiting new student markets, developing innovative international and Veteran’s recruitment strategies, setting enrollment objectives, optimizing the use of technology, and improving the overall recruitment and enrollment process.
• Provides leadership for recruitment, admissions and enrollment services and the planning, coordinating and implementing of the College’s master plan, and policies and procedures, and directing and training staff.
• Strong supervisory and budget experience; knowledge and competency with technology and information systems supporting recruitment and retention; result-oriented with demonstrated effective leadership skills; possess excellent organizational, communication, customer service, decision-making, judgment, problem-solving and delegation skills; and have the ability to work well with diverse groups of students, faculty, administrators, and community leaders.
• Support enrollment and student service activities on all college campuses and locations.
• Coordinates the evaluation and professional development of enrollment and student services staff and administrators, and establishes and implements criteria for evaluating unit effectiveness.
• Manages budgets for departments supervised.
• Manages and coordinates enrollment contributions to key publications.
• Collaborates with the deans of academic areas to ensure coordinated delivery of enrollment services and to develop policies and procedures consistent with the College’s mission and goals.
• Serves as a troubleshooter for area complaints

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree, Doctorate Preferred.
• 10 years of progressively responsible administrative experience within a successful enrollment management program and/or student success and engagement in a higher education environment.
• 10 years of proven experience to develop, carry out, explain, interpret and enforce policy
• 10 years of proven experience to develop and recommend innovative enrollment management practices
• 10 years of proven experience to design data tracking systems, communicate effectively in oral and written form
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel at all levels
• Proven ability to manage staff and other internal resources effectively.
