Job Description

• To assist in the coordination and scheduling of testing services at all College locations and at off campus sites
• To provide support to the Director and Full Time Testing Technician, and provide supervision in their absence and on Saturdays
• To assist with day to day operations of the Testing Center
• To maintain accurate record keeping and generate reports
• To perform front line customer service to students, administration and faculty

• Assists in the the scheduling of, and administering, placement tests, paper-pencil testing, and other tests (CLEP, DANTES, TEAS, etc.) at all campus locations and at off campus sites
• Works with Director of Recruitment, and SCAP to schedule, administer, and report out on all high school group testing
• Performs testing uploads from Accuplacer to Colleague
• Maintains the security and accuracy of all tests, enforcing College policies and procedures
• Provides proctoring assistance in the Testing Center
• Maintains accurate records, analyzes statistical data and creates comprehensive reports related to testing operations
• Data entry of Official Exemptions and Credit for Prior Learning Transcripts into Colleague
• Provides coverage at College Open House and other outreach events as needed

• There will be an annual evaluation in relation to performance standards mutually developed and agreed upon between the Permanent Part Time Testing Technician and Director of Testing.
• This is a Permanent Part Time, twelve-month, non-affiliated administrative position. Standard working hours during the academic year are 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm Friday and 9:30 am – 2:30 pm Saturday. During the summer the hours are 11:45 am – 6:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday, and 8:30 am – 3:15 pm on Friday. Position will primarily be at Blackwood Campus, but travel to other Camden County College campuses or high schools will be required. This job description will be updated periodically.
• This position is primarily office based, but travel to all three College locations and to off campus sites is mandatory. The position requires minimal lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling. The ability to communicate through hearing and speech, the ability to see written materials, and the ability to monitor activities of students, and the substantial use of the computer are required.

Minimum Qualifications

•Associates Degree required
• Previous higher education experience preferred
• Strong administrative skills, including staff supervision, record keeping, report writing and program evaluation
• Excellent oral and communication skills
• The ability to work with honesty and integrity, whether independently or as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
• Working knowledge of electronic processing systems and desk-top software
• Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague preferred
